Succes texturing

We paint silk since many years, but twelve years ago we started sewing the silk we painted, and discovering many interesting textures and effects that can be done with this fabric.

In this 18-hours course, more than 10 practical exercises are showed, which will result in a beautiful catalog/artist’s book, where each sheet will have some technique applied.

In addition to knowing different ways to texture fabrics, the course is focused on creativity and versatility. We go a little further in the use of certain techniques, seeking originality.

At the end of the course you will have different resources to enrich, decorate or create new fabrics with easy solutions, which can bring a special effect to your pieces.

This is a course to be surprised and have fun.

We will make the different pages of the book, in addition to giving you a lot of information. We will also show objects that can be made, from bags to quilts. Desedamas will give you the tools, creativity is with you!!!!!
